Meeting Summary October 11, 2006 Present were: Patrick Gillespie, President; Peter Davis, Vice-president; Mark Proudman, Treasurer; Joseph Arena; Russell Azzarello; Ellen Ritchie; Michael Spina; Absent were: Mayor Jim Phillips; Edward Testino, Councilman; Michael Jacobs, Business Administrator; Robin Rosen, Secretary; Michael D'Agnes; Laheri Mehta; Raj Patel; Larry Redmond; Kevin Ruffler; Nick Smolney The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. Salute to the flag was followed by a roll call. Joseph Criscuolo, Assistant Business Administrator, is sitting in for Michael Jacobs. Statement was made that the meeting was held in accordance with the requirements of the Open Public Meeting Act. Pat Gillespie pointed out that as per our Agenda, we will now go into Executive Session as a follow up to the Compensation Committee meeting to screen for potential candidates for the Executive Director’s position. Patrick Gillespie moved that we go into Executive Session for the purposes of personnel matters to interview a candidate. A motion was made by Joe Arena to go into Executive Session for personnel reasons, seconded by Mark Proudman, and unanimously agreed upon. Executive Session began at 6:45 p.m. Ms. Seiler asked Mr. Gillespie how long the Board will be in Executive Session. Mr. Gillespie advised Ms. Seiler that it would be approximately one hour. A motion was made by Patrick Gillespie to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Joe Arena, and unanimously agreed upon at 7:45 p.m. There was no action taken during Executive Session. Mark Proudman presented his Treasurer’s Report for the months of July, August and September 2006. A motion was made by Patrick Gillespie, seconded by Joe Arena and unanimously agreed upon for the approval of the Treasurer’s Report for the months of July, August and September 2006. Mark Proudman presented his Bill List report for the months of July, August and September 2006. A motion was made by Pete Davis, seconded by Patrick Gillespie and unanimously agreed upon for the approval of the Bill List for the months of July, August and September 2006. A motion was made by Mark Proudman, seconded by Patrick Gillespie and unanimously agreed upon for the approval of the July 12, 2006 Summary Report. Joseph Arena and Russell Azzarello abstained from the vote. There was no new business at the meeting. Mr. Gillespie opened the meeting to the Public. There was no response. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:00 p.m. All were in favor. |
