1 . Approval of June 6, 2007 Minutes Motion to approve the minutes as presented made by Blanche Hoffman, seconded by Owen Henry, all in favor 2. Bills Outstanding No bills to date. 3. OBEC Vacancy Blanche Hoffman received a resume from Michael Cerrato and will forward it to Mayor Phillips for consideration of appointment to the OBEC. Perry Simone suggested having a student who is participating in the Conservation Corp. to become the High School Representative to the OBEC. Deborah Marquez will obtain a list of participants and present to the OBEC at the September meeting. 4. Environmental Resource Inventory Blanche Hoffman and Wayne Farmer discussed the ERI for Franklin Township, which has similar open space to Old Bridge. In Wayne's absence, further discussion will be held for the next OBEC meeting. 5. Open Space George Millett discussed a parcel of land on Route 9 and 516 which he believes the Township should look into for purchase since it comprises 14 acres of wetlands. George is looking into obtaining a list of new properties which may be available for purchase. Status report on the proposed golf course and YMCA will be obtained from Mayor Phillips by George. At the meeting George presented a street map of the Township and it was suggested to use this at Old Bridge Day. George will see if an overlay can be made showing the underdeveloped lands and flood plans. George will invite Bethany Rocque-Romaine, legal counsel specialist with the Board of Public Utilities, and who is a volunteer with the Tidelands Resource Council, to give a presentation to the OBEC. George presented the OBEC, for review, his draft letter to the Honorable Rush Holt and Frank Pallone, Jr. introducing them to the OBEC and what our mission is. Having not had any action regarding the Global Landfill, the OBEC is asking for assistance in obtaining reports on when the project can be expected to be completed and what future does it hold for Old Bridge. The OBEC approved the draft and copy will be sent to Mayor Phillips. 6. Planning and Zoning 44-07Z - ELRAC d/b/a Enterprise Rent-a-Car

Having reviewed the application, the OBEC will request a complete set of plans, including landscape, lighting, and community impact statement. 9:30 p.m. - Motion to adjourn the meeting moved by Perry Simone, seconded by Owen Henry, all in favor.
