Approval of July 11, 2007 Minutes Motion to approve the minutes as presented made by Blanche Hoffman, seconded by Perry Simone, all in favor 2. Bills Outstanding No bills to date. 3. Current Appointees - Introduction Blanche Hoffman welcomed Michael Cerrato as a Voting Member term to expire 12/31/09 and Wayne Farmer as Alternate Member term to expire to expire 12/31/08. 4. Adopt-a-Beach - September 15, 2007 Debbie DePew reported she is looking for volunteers to help in the beach clean-up advertised in the schools, library, and Boy Scouts troops. The DEP will be supplying bags and rubber gloves. Snacks will be set-up in the recreation building. Debbie advised Ralph Albanir via e-mail. 5. Old Bridge Day - September 29, 2007 Blanche Hoffman, Wayne Farmer, Michael Cerrato, and Perry Simone will participate for the OBEC. Blanche will contact ANJEC for their display on Sustainable Living and Development to used for the day. Debbie DePew is looking into purchasing pads made from recycled paper to hand out. She has also commissioned Ronald McDonald to participate with his environmental show. 6. Golf Course Talks are still in progress regarding the amount of years the lease of the property should be granted for. 7. YMCA Ground breaking for the building was held. 8. ERI This item will be put back on the agenda for the next OBEC meeting. Perry Simone will have available for the next meeting a list of contract individuals. 9. Access to Public Records Blanche Hoffman presented two requests for environmental information for specific properties. The OBEC does not have access to information nor do they keep records. Blanche will contact the Township before answering these requests. 10. Lead Along Laurence Harbor Blanche Hoffman reported the DEP is investigating. 11. Brownfields Blanche Hoffman sent information to Mr. Jacobs. 12. ANJEC - Global Warming - September 20, 2007 The OBEC will not be attending. ANJEC's 35th Congress will be held on October 12, 2007. This item will be put on the agenda for the next meeting. 13. Planning and Zoning 53-07P - Russ and Barbara Weber

Having reviewed the application the OBEC believes a buffer of 10 feet seems unrealistic. A buffer of 50 feet would increase landscaping. Buffers and berms along major arteries in Old Bridge are desirable and should be a priority. 9:30 p.m. - Motion to adjourn the meeting moved by Owen Henry, seconded by Perry Simone, all in favor.
