. Approval of October 3, 2007 Minutes
Motion to approve the minutes as presented made by Owen Henry, seconded by George Millett, all in favor
2. Bills Outstanding
No bills to date.
3. ANJEC - Leadership Development Course - Nov. 30 - Dec. 1, 2007
Michael Cerrato will advise of his attendance. Motion to approve payment of $65.00 registration fee was made by Perry Simone, seconded by Owen Henry, all in favor.
4. ANJEC Annual Environmental Congress
Debbie DePew attended the session on Global Warming and the Environment.
Blanche Hoffman attended the session on Energy. Blanche reported that some municipalities are using solar panels. It was suggested that the Township Planning Board revisit the ordinance as it relates to solar paneling.
5. Cross Trail Plan
Wayne Farmer presented a proposal whereby there would be a system of designated paths for walking and bicycling that link public areas in Old Bridge. Benefits of the Cross Trails proposal include the conservation of resources and reduction in pollution from reduced motor vehicle use.
Blanche Hoffman suggested looking into obtaining a matching grant to help in continuing to pursue work on this project.
Memo will be sent to Mayor Phillips requesting that the Cross Trails proposal be looked at by the Open Space Committee as well as the Planning Board. The goal is to have this item incorporated into the Master Plan and have an ordinance adopted and approved by the Township Council.
6. ERI Report
Wayne Farmer, Blanche Hoffman, Michael Cerrato, and Perry Simone will meet November 26 to start work on putting together an outline for updating the current ERI.
Perry Simone handed out articles printed in the Home News Tribune regarding the Alfieri plans that will be heard by the Planning Board. The second article on the DEP moves on the Global Landfill clean-up and construction of the final cap, which should be completed in two years. Both articles were published on Nov. 1, 2007.
The Old Bridge Environmental Commission members who terms expire on December 1, 2007 are: Blanche Hoffman, chair; Perry Simone, vice-chair; and Gary Szelc, associate member. Memo to be sent to Mayor Phillips requesting their reappointments for another three (3) years, as well as asking for a replacement for Raquel Almeida-Khodash, who has since moved away from the Township.
Blanche Hoffman will be in contact with Christine Piscatelli - Supt. of Secondary Education - to appoint a high school representative to the OBEC.
OBEC calendar for 2008 will be put on agenda for December 2007 meeting for approval. Each meeting will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, with the exception of January and July, which will be held on the second Wednesday. There will be no meeting in August.

The OBEC has no comments at this time.
105-06P - Crossings at Old Bridge
In reviewing the application, the OBEC was having difficulty in determining what revisions were made and, therefore, will send memo to Sam Rizzo asking for details of the revisions made on October 12, 2007.
70-07Z - Waters Edge at Laurence Harbor
