. Welcome New Members
Blanche Hoffman Presented term expirations for OBEC.
2. Approval of December 5, 2007 Minutes
Motion to approve the minutes as presented moved by Deborah Marquez, seconded by Blanche Hoffman, all in favor.
3. Bills Outstanding
ANJEC 2008 Membership Dues - motion to approve payment of $270.00 moved by Owen Henry, seconded by Deborah Marquez, all in favor.
4. Goals and Objectives
Old Bridge Cross Trail Project - copy of proposal will be sent to Mayor Phillips for his review, as well as extending an invitation to attend the February OBEC meeting to discuss further.
ANJEC has made available a grant entitled Sustainable Growth, which has an application deadline of March 30, 2008.
Global Remediation - George Millett reported that to date he has had no word from Frank Pallone. Rush Holt has scheduled a meeting in January and George will follow up for further information.
Review Ordinances:
Tree Ordinance - Blanche Hoffman will obtain a copy for the next meeting.
Home Inspections - New and Resales George Millett queried how much of non-permeable surface should be allowed for residents to build on. This item will be addressed further.
5. Open Space
George Millett presented correspondence from Jack Cocozziello, CBNA Business Analysis, detailing grants handed out for Old Bridge. County open space funds for $800,000 will allow the purchase of 5.3 acres of wooded property off of Ticetown Road. The second grant for $80,000 will go toward the construction of bicycle paths and walkways near the Whispering Pines housing development off Route 516. The pathways will connect the development to Mannino Park and eventually link the park to the Glenwood Apartments.
6. Planning and Zoning
63-07P - American Equities No comments.
70-07Z - Waters Edge at Laurence Harbor
Application review tabled for Zoning Board February meeting.
