- APPROVAL OF MAY 2, 2001 MINUTES
Cindy Bell corrected that a weeping cherry tree was planted on Arbor Day. Motion to approve the minutes as corrected was moved by Wayne Farmer, seconded by Cindy Bell - all in favor.

No bills to date.
- PARCEL MAPPING GRANT - DEVELOP SCOPE OF WORK
Blanche Hoffman reported George Koehler will develop scope of work. Susan Knauf will edit and add additional information. Ernest Schmitz will make copies of the disk with Greenway data for the consultants and Wayne Farmer.
- TREE ORDINANCE DISCUSSION
The Tree Ordinance has been adopted by the Township Council.
- CORRINE KAPLOWITZ
Blanche Hoffman has had no work from Corrine to date on submission of her resignation on the OBEC. A third letter will be sent to Corrine asking her to act immediately in submitting her resignation.
Wayne Farmer has attended the Open Space Committee meeting and presented to the OBEC members his summary of open space goals, ecological factors, quality of life issues, and other factors. Blanche Hoffman stated the primary goals for the Open Space Committee is for acquisition of lands in the township.
Susan Knauf feels that the OBEC should stay with Open Space - look at plans we have, compare with what was vacant and then prioritize. In referencing Wayne's proposals under the heading of Ecological Factors, Susan wants to see the word habitat/with endangered species. Gary Szelc added forested area - add unique and specimen trees.
Wayne Farmer walked the Lambertson property on which a golf course is being considered. Wayne emphasized the property has large white and red oaks which should be preserved Blanche and Wayne will meet to walk the property and take pictures of the various trees. Blanche Hoffman will write a letter to the Planning Board and Township Council, with documentation on the property, within in the next sixty days.
Blanche Hoffman asked for a motion to accept Wayne's goals. Susan Knauf motioned to approve, Blanche seconded - all in favor.
Copies will be sent to Mayor Cannon; Mike Caffrey, Chair, Open Space Committee; Planning and Zoning; and Sam Rizzo.
