1. Approval of November 3, 2004 Minutes
Motion to approve the minutes as presented made by Blanche Hoffman, seconded by Wayne Farmer, all in favor.
2. Bills Outstanding
No bills to date.
3. Term Expirations
Blanche Hoffman directed those members whose terms are expiring to send Mayor Phillips a letter requesting reappointment (Perry Simone, Gary Szelc).
4. Nike Site Acquisition
Blanche Hoffman reported that she has had no word on the Jake Brown Road linkage from Route 9 to Route 516.
Blanche Hoffman will ask Linda Hardy to write a letter to the County regarding litter clean-up, with copies to Assemblyman Samuel Thompson and Assemblyman Joseph Azzolina.
6. NJDEP Environmental Services Grant Application
Blanche Hoffman will prepare the necessary documentation for Brook Keffner, Old Bridge Grant Writer. The grant will be for the Cross Trails proposal, which is a system of designated paths for walking and bicycling that will link public areas in Old Bridge.
The matching grant of $5,000 will be distributed as $4,800 for a consultant and $200 for miscellaneous. The consultant that is hired will have planning and engineering experience.
Perry Simone presented a USA Today article regarding the disposal of tv's which can affect the environment due to toxins. This item will be discussed further at the January OBEC meeting.
7. Planning and Zoning
62-04P - Nextel - Industrial Drive
Having reviewed the application, the OBEC will respond to the Planning Board. The OBEC's concern is the proximity to the residential and education facility.
86-04P -Kevin Bigley
Having reviewed the application, the OBEC takes issue with the run-off of the newly proposed dwelling and lot due to the steep slope at the rear of the property and proximity to the dwelling. This would have an unfavorable impact on Lake Lucerne, a.k.a. Sunset Pond. The OBEC is asking this to be addressed.

The OBEC has not comments at this time.
