In attendance were:

Minutes of April 3, 2006 meeting read. Motion to accept - Babette Jacowitz, 2nd by Inell Springer.
Motion by Babette Jacowitz for John Grossmann for Chair Person - 2nd by Inell Springer.
Motion by Inell Springer for Reginald Springer for Vice Chair Person - 2nd by John Grossmann.
Motion by Inell Springer for Priscilla Grossmann for Recording Sec. - 2nd by Babette Jacowitz.
Appointment of Operating Committees
1. Executive Committee - Executive Board
2. Steering Committee - Isaac Crosson, Babette Jacowitz, Joseph Mannucci
3. Education Committee - Ashok Chaudhary, Babette Jacowitz
4. Public Relations Committee - Isaac Crosson, Inell Springer, Martha Gesimondo
5. Conflict Resolution Committee - WIll not be filled now. This is handled by the court.
6. Budget Committee - Isaac Crosson, Albert Muzikar
Old Business
Reginald Springer is in charge of Memorial Day Parade for the commission participation
A vote was held for expenditure of funds for the Mayors Meet and Greet the Latino and Spanish community. Motion by Inell Springer, 2nd by Babette Jacowitz. All in favor.
John Grossmann and Reginald Springer plan to meet with Diane Amabile to investigate what giveaways are left in the basement.
New Business
Babette Jacowitz is checking on the Hate Crimes Program on computers, which is conducted by the FBI.
Other programs we mentioned are Bias Training, Cultural Awareness, and Gang Awareness.
These are provided by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at no cost to the Township.
