ATTENDANCE

The meeting was called to order at 7:34 pm.

In attendance were: Tom Badcock, Ray Battaglino, Isaac Crosson, Steve Donohue, Joe Dunn (arrived 8:20), Jody Huss, Denis Kilduff, Bob Larson, Irene O’Kane, Bob Pepe, Kevin Calogera (arrive 7:55 pm) and Rich Greene. Also in attendance was Carol Norberg to take the minutes.

Absent from this meeting were: Lisa Cooney, Fran DiRocco, Kerry Frew, Ash Patel, Kevin Ruffler and Bill Baker.

Tom welcomed new members Isaac Crosson and Jody Huss.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The minutes were approved for the December, 2004 meeting.

RECREATION/CAMP ROBIN UPDATE

Tom talked about the new program brochure and spring offerings. The Camp Robin Report was in everyone’s folders. He explained the Before/After School Program and Summer Camp offerings to the new members.

CAPITAL PROJECTS

1. YMCA – Gave background for new members
2. Golf Course – Gave background for new members
3. Irrigation Projects – Ticetown Soccer and Pension Road Soccer Fields (used as Cricket Fields)
4. Tennis Court Resurfacing
5. Arena Roof
6. Sayrewoods South Little League – Paving Project
7. Senior Buses
8. Central Park Playground
9. Emergency Access Road at Geick

OLD BUSINESS

Tom talked about work needed at Lombardi Field, which is Board of Ed property. Discussion followed about the history of this field between Township and Board of Ed.

The benefits of installing synthetic surfacing were discussed for Geick Park’s baseball field and soccer fields.

Safety issues were discussed regarding the road by Cheesequake Park Baseball League.

NEW BUSINESS

The appointments of Chairman and Vice Chairman took place. Denis Kilduf was nominated and accepted as Chairman; Joe Dunn was nominated and accepted as Vice Chairman.
