Administration Bureau
The Police Administration Bureau, overseen by Captain Robert Weiss, consists of sworn officers and civilian police employees. The many responsibilties of the Police Administration Bureau include the scheduling of all training undertaken by department personnel and the integration of all police technology.
Additional responsibilities of Police Administration include acting as a liaison between the Fire and First Aid Squads.
Special Police
The Old Bridge Police Department utilizes certified Special Law Enforcement Officers (SLEO1) to augment and enhance police operations. These operations include traffic control, crowd control and other assignments as deemed necessary through the Police Department.
Special Law Enforcement Officers must complete a State Certified Program. Upon receiving certification, these Special Law Enforcement Officers must follow the guidelines established under the Old Bridge Police Department's Rules and Regulations and General Orders.
This program is open to Old Bridge residents only who are 18 years of age or older.

Auxiliary Police
Auxiliary Police come under the direction of the Police Department's Emergency Management unit. Auxiliary Officers are volunteers who do not receive a salary for their services. Auxiliary Police Officers must successfully complete a certified Auxiliary Police Academy training course held by the Middlesex County Auxiliary Police Academy.
