JITNEY COMMUTER SHUTTLE
Morning and Evening Schedule
Starting January 20, 2003 Middlesex County Department of Transportation will provide Jitney service in the Sayrewoods South section of Old Bridge. A donation of $1 is requested.
The Jitney shuttle will pick up commuters at designated locations and drop them off at the Throckmorton Lane/Ticetown Road bus stop which will eliminate the need to take the car to the bus.
The Jitney will run every half hour from 5:15 am to 7:45 am and again in the evening from 4:15 pm to 7:15 pm. The scheduled stops will enable residents to walk to the Jitney shuttle stop from their homes.
The goal is to offer a convenience for commuters and to eliminate the need for them to drive and park during commuter rush hour.
