PSE&G is continuing construction of gas infrastructure improvements within Old Bridge Township. Work over the next two weeks will be performed on Cindy Street, Mercury Circle, Athens Avenue, Oak Street, Cedar Avenue, Albert Drive, Homer Avene, Cedar Avenue, Bruce Street and Jewel Place, weather permitting. The work includes the installation of a new gas main, transferring existing gas services to the new main and relocating gas meters from interior to exterior on the residential homes. Construction is anticipated to be completed by late summer 2024, weather permitting. PSE&G is responsible for providing notifications to residents as the construction project proceeds. Access will be provided to local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, mail carrier, deliveries, and trash haulers.
