Old Bridge Township

Mayor Walker visited the John Piccolo Ice Arena on Wednesday, January 14^th for Operation Beachhead. Founded in 2011, Operation Beachhead is a unique 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based at the Jersey Shore but grew to have a reach from coast to coast. Their goal and purpose is to offer veterans, troops, disabled individuals and their families adaptive recreational sports and social activities. Their winter activities include sled hockey, ice skating and skiing. Old Bridge Township hosts this group once a month throughout the season in the John Piccolo Ice Arena.
