Per the Middlesex County Engineering Department, the Route 516 bridge over Lake Lefferts will remain closed until Memorial Day. While working on the bridge, several structural issues were found that require the bridge to remain closed. Mr. Panzarino from the Middlesex County Engineering Department indicated that they would do what they can to get it open sooner.
