The Township of Old Bridge hosted a Public Information Center meeting on Thursday, June 18 to inform local residents, officials, businesses, and the general public about the Preliminary Engineering phase for proposed improvements at Cottrell Farm Park. Old Bridge has received a grant through the Transportation Alternatives (TA) Set-Aside Program to construct pedestrian safety improvements along the frontage of Cottrell Farm Park. The proposed improvements will add a shared used path for both pedestrians and bicyclists, street trees, curbs, decorative street lighting, stormwater management basins, and other design features along the park frontage to provide safe passage for both pedestrians and bicyclists. The purpose of the Public Information Center was to update the public and solicit valuable input and information towards the project’s Preliminary Engineering design. Project team members were in attendance to present information and answer questions. The Public is welcome to review exhibits in the links below of the Preliminary Construction Plans, and provide feedback by mail, or e-mail. Written comments will be accepted through July 6, 2026. Comments may be mailed or emailed to: Nicole S. Shapiro, PE, PP, CME at nshapiro@oldbridge.com or to Michael A. Wallo, PE, CME at mwallo@gpinet.com.
