OLD BRIDGE-MATAWAN ROAD (MIDDLESEX COUNTY ROUTE 516) & COTTRELL ROAD CONSTRUCTION WORK NOTICE

The Middlesex County Department of Transportation will be milling and resurfacing the following roadways:

• Old Bridge-Matawan Road (Middlesex County Route 516) between Higgins Road and Bennett Road

• Cottrell Road from Middlesex County Route 516 to the southerly Old Bridge Police Department driveway

Work is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, July 27, 2026, and is expected to continue for three (3) days, weather permitting. Construction hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes whenever possible.
