The Middlesex County Department of Transportation will be PAVING the following roadways:

• Old Bridge-Matawan Road (Middlesex County Route 516) between Higgins Road and Bennett Road on 7/29/2026 using flagging operations.

• Cottrell Road from Middlesex County Route 516 to the southerly Old Bridge Police Department driveway on 7/30/2026 using detour through Municipal Complex.

Work is scheduled to begin on or about Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and is expected to be completed in two days, weather permitting. Construction hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes whenever possible.
