TOWNSHIP OF OLD BRIDGE
TOWNSHIP COUNCIL REMOTE MEETING NOTICE
Please be advised of the following procedures that will be in effect for any Township Council meeting for which the public will only be able to access the meeting remotely. Pursuant to the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b) and recently pronounced regulations pertaining to the conduct of remote public meetings by public bodies, until further Notice, Council meetings will only be accessed by the public by means of the use of electronic communications equipment and broadcast through OBTV, OBTown Facebook and/or Old Bridge Township Youtube. The Council will take action at these meetings on matters including but not limited to contracts, ordinances, personnel, minutes and bill list. Agendas, to the extent known. will be published on Oldbridge.com and OBTown Facebook in advance of the meetings.
The public may also submit written comments regarding agenda matters or general comments to Council to gsiboni@oldbridge.com to be read aloud during the Public Comment portion of the meeting. Comments must be submitted by 3:00 P.M. of the day of the regularly scheduled meeting, or if necessary by 3 P.M.. of any Special Council Meeting that may be scheduled. Written comments will not be read aloud for any member of the public that submits a written comment in advance of the Council meeting, who then elects to speak during public comment portion of the meeting. Be further advised that both written and spoken comments will be subject to any time limitation established by Council for public comment.
