Old Bridge Library

Effective Saturday, November 28, 2020, the Old Bridge Public Library will be closed for in-person browsing and computer use. These restrictions will likely continue until the number of COVID-19 cases decreases in our community and the maximum capacity of our building is increased by the state government. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

While the Old Bridge Public Library may be temporarily closed, our virtual services are still available! Read eBooks, stream music / movies, and browse magazines for free from your devices.

Librarians will also be available to assist you with your information needs, or to suggest new titles for you to read based on your interests. If you have a subject that you are interested in researching, an author that you would like to read, or a pressing question that needs to be answered, just speak to the reference staff. To reach an Adult Services Librarian, dial (732) 721-5600 x.5033. To speak with a Youth Services Librarian, dial (732) 721-5600 x.5028. Librarians are available from 11am to 7pm on Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Curbside pick-up of physical library materials is available five days a week, no appointment needed. Curbside runs from 2pm to 7pm on Tuesdays through Fridays, and 12pm to 5pm on Saturdays. Learn how it works here.

Passport appointments are still being taken and honored. To schedule an appointment, email Passports@oldbridgelibrary.org with your specific needs and details about your situation.

We will also continue notary appointments for the foreseeable future. To book a notary appointment, email notary@oldbridgelibrary.org.

You can also send your documents to us for printing. All you have to do is send your file as an attachment to print@oldbridgelibrary.org, and come to pick up your item via Curbside Delivery.

All of our community book drops, including the ones at the Central Branch and the Laurence Harbor Branch, will remain open 24/7 so you can return your materials. Returned items will be placed in quarantine for a week to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons, and no late fees will be charged for returned materials during that time.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to safeguard the health of our community!
