The New Jersey State League of Municipalities and Mayor Henry have an excellent scholarship opportunity for the High School Juniors and Seniors from Old Bridge Township. They have teamed up to offer three (3) $1,000.00 scholarships through the Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition.
The purpose of this scholarship is to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer positions in municipal government, while raising awareness of municipal government in general. To compete for the scholarship, the student must write an essay with the theme, “What My Municipal Government Does Best”. The deadline to submit the essay to the Mayor’s office is Friday, March 11th, 2022. Once the office receives the essay, it will be judged by the committee and then forwarded to the League of Municipalities for their consideration.
