Police Department Fingerprinting Requests

Non-Criminal Fingerprinting
The Old Bridge Township Police Department will no longer fingerprint applicants for non-criminal background checks.  The New Jersey State Police have implemented the non-criminal justice applicant live scan program.  The state vendor, Sagem Morpho, Inc., will process fingerprint requests for volunteer firearms licensing, alcohol beverage control licensing, local ordinances and for paid full or part-time firemen who require fingerprint-based criminal background checks.

The Police Department Records Bureau will continue to process applications for Firearms Identification Cards, permits to purchase a handgun, local Township Ordinance permits and Alcohol Beverage Licenses. The Records Bureau personnel will supply applicants with a Sagem Morpho, Inc. fingerprinting form upon submission of your application. The form contains complete instructions on how to schedule your appointment for fingerprinting.  Appointment scheduling with Sagem Morpho, Inc. is available via the website at www.bioapplicant.com/nj

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - The Identification Unit will continue to provide fingerprinting for the following:  Individuals who supply a Federal fingerprint card requesting a background check for Federal purposes and non-New Jersey (out of state) background checks, Old Bridge Township volunteer firemen, first aid members and domestic violence volunteer team members.  No exceptions will be made.  For appointments, contact the Identification Unit at (732) 721-5600, ext. 3090.
